First coin I've seen like this in person. Very excited to find out more about it. Can someone please help guide me in the right direction. The back side shows some faint markings of the memorial but mostly blank so was confused on the process and how to research more. How this happened, value etc..

I would guess its part of a vise job, probably an outer coin. You see the obverse impression (mirrored) of the other coin, and the reverse was flattened by the vise jaws. Afraid I think its just PSD.

All Post Strike Damage ( PSD) unfortunately. It was caused by a vise job. http://www.error-ref.com/squeeze-jo...-garage-job/
