Second, assuming that you are talking about that green color around the date, I'm not sure that it is environmental damage specifically, but this coin did not leave the mint with that stuff on it. I highly doubt that this is an overdate, but you could try to soak this coin in acetone to remove the green stuff. I suspect that this "1" will disappear too. Please post an after pic though to confirm. Thx!
