I decided to start coin roll hunting when I heard about the West Point quarters being released into circulation this year. I've searched about $1000 of quarters in the last month or so, but sadly no W's. I have, however found a decent number of error coins and varieties. I don't think many are worth a ton of money, but I've enjoyed finding them all the same. Just joined this community and wanted to share some of my finds!

Probably my favorite find so far, 2015 Homestead DDR-104 with doubling on the pump and the window to the above-left of the pump

Edit: Almost forgot about this one. Early-stage "leaky bucket" die chip on 2015 Homestead with possible very faint doubling along bottom edge of third window from the bottom on the right (not sure about the doubling).

E-gad that's a bunch of junky-funky quarters. Some good finds for all your work. I believe the eagle-wing chip doesn't qualify as a Cud, though, as it does not involve the rim. Am I right?

Keep looking!

Thanks, Biedercoins! I'm still pretty new to this and learning the terminology. Hopefully I'll find enough to do another post soon (and some W's)!

Awesome finds! The Cud's are my favorite. The "small Cud" on the right wing of the eagle and the chin wart are die chips. A Cud has to break with the rim, usually extending out from the rim. A "rim Cud" is confined to only the rim, and does not extend out. So the two Colorado die breaks are actually just regular Cud's, which IMOHO is better than a rim Cud. I hope this all makes sense! Let me know if I can better explain any of this. As for the W's keep looking! I bought 14 rolls and found 19 Lowell W's in them. Awesome finds and happy hunting!

Here is an example of a rim cud-

The pre-chip crack on the bucket, that we so often see the chip, but not the crack.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool getting one just before the chip fully detached from the die.
