sel_69l Bedrock of the Community Australia 21788 Posts	Posted 05/27/2019 9:53 pm Minimal, or even no wear at all, on George V's sideburns and end of moustache - difficult to assess with patination over these high point of the design. These spots are very sensitive to wear. Small nicks and scratches to be seen under the patina on the obverse. Reverse appears to be better. Perhaps a late strike: - detail seems to be a little soft. I will say AU58, but could be as high as 62, but needs a careful examination in hand. Late strike and patina may have deceived me somewhat. Even and attractive patina. Report this Post to the Staff
