I have a Delaware State Quarter with what I think are grease errors on both sides. I'm wondering if it is worth getting certified/graded (what's the right word?). If so, where do I send it to certify it? Thanks.

To CCF! In my opinion, it's definitely worth the cost of getting it graded by a TPG. As to which one, maybe ANACS?

I would have a hard time spending 20-50 dollars to slab a coin that is worth 25-50 cents. (Probably the reason I've never slabbed a coin before)

There are definitely people willing to pay much more than 50 cents for this. Is it worth slabbing? I don't know. If I had it and intended to sell, I would probably sell it raw and skip the TPG hassle.

Nice find!

PS,I did a quick look and found this https://www.ebay.com/itm/Error-2000...2F8gg3Q%253D &_trksid=p2047675.l2557
So I think not worth slabbing fees.

That is extreme enough to be worth considerably more than 50 cents, but I doubt it would be worth enough to recover the sallbing fees even at ANACS (no way at PCGS or NGC), and even if was worth more than the slabbing fees you would still be giving 90% or more of your profit to the grading service instead of your wallet.

It really depends on a lot of things. Do you have other coins you want certified? ANACS usually has a special, 10 coins for $10 each or something like that with free return shipping. I usually save coins like this and then send them in with more valuable errors to fill out the 10 coins.

Whether you get more than $10 in value because it's graded when selling it depends.

Coop, it is not worth 50 cents! It's worth a lot more than that. It's a major Grease Filled Die error. Not sure why you said that?
