I don't see any doubling. Please use complete words when posting: Quote: Instant Message Lingo (7/3/2007) Please do not use it here. Example: How r u? Please save that for Instant Messenger and text messaging and use full text here.

Okay. Other opinions/observations will come. I'm not an expert and maybe there is something there.

between the R and the I in america is some extra metal I think filling it in a little and there is a little shiny bump stinking out of the right wheat stalk

Coin contact through the years have altered some devices flattening them or coin wear has flattened the devices. On the EPU, there is a strong die wear pattern. This happened a lot on the coins that were struck with VLDS dies: As the dies wear, the devices move outward toward the rim area. On the 'A' on America, the post broke of that device on the die. After this happens all coins struck after that will be missing the incuse area on that device. Variety Vista lists no DDR from 1909-1921: http://www.varietyvista.com/01a%20L...Listings.htmJust coin wear and Die Deterioration. No hub doubling. (not a doubled die)
