One thing I am sure of, none of them qualify as "Gem BU" not a single one of them. Not even Choice BU.
What did you pay for them though? If you paid Gem BU prices it's a problem.
If you paid $11-13 a coin probably not too bad really. If you paid $15 it might be pushing it but could probably recover at melt if you sit on them a while.
You could select really nice ones for $20-$25 each individually. And could get better ones than those for about $17 each I'd think.
Just one man's opinion here.what it cost you is everything when it comes to this type of thing, and you should also calculate the shipping into it. I get it if your disappointed with the purchase, but it might not be all bad if the price was right.
Vast majority of 1922 coins aren't exceptionally high value so it really should be considered bullion in my opinion if they aren't slabbed and highly graded, just to avoid the overpaying. Generally when I'm bidding on
ebay for uncertified silver I'm cutting off at spot price and accounting for the shipping also so I don't overpay. I might not win much some people are willing to pay more for whatever their reasoning, but I don't lose really either and condition isn't a factor at that point.
Yeah. I'd recommend treating all raw precious metal coins from
ebay as bullion and also keep an eye out for counterfeits to limit losses and return hassles in the future.
