Time to go old school and post your notes from the 1800s. Let's see some love for these large sized notes! One Dollar Notes: 1886 1896 1899 ------------------- Two Dollar Notes: 1896 1899 ------------------- Five Dollar Notes: 1886 -------------------- 1896 -------------------- 1899

Quote: Good one Superior-Grading.com can't even get the dollar amount right so is the grade right? Simple clerical error. Superior sends you F&R scans of the graded notes before they ship, so I alerted Greg and this is what I received.

Here is the $2 Series 1891 Silver Certificate. The Tillman/Morgan sig combo dates the printing of this note to 1893-1897.

Back when I was still working, the executive secretary of the general manager called me and asked for my assistance with a note her friend owned. Her friend said the LCS offered her $100 and asked if that was fair. I replied it was worth at least double of their offer. I bought the note from her friend the next day and eventually had it graded. Edited to add; When filling out the submission form for grading, I was surprised how difficult it was to determine which Fr.# I had. There's nine possibilities depending on series, which bank note company printed the note and patent date.
