HEY everyone I'm Jason and I'm new to coin collecting and I was wondering if y'all could help me identify these coins and if they might be error coins, 1984 penny with no IN on In good we trust, and this 1989 pennen has a indention half way around the top on the coin but it's not scuffing the letters. o

Hey Jaypowell40,

That's caused by late stage (old/worn out) dies, and they're actually quite common. Keep looking though. You'll find something!

Have a good one

I agree, Die Deterioration, caused by a worn die issue, from striking a ton of planchets at the U.S. Mint.

Not worth keeping unless you want to.
