Need Help With Strange 1943 Steel Lincoln Cent

Lkayre New Member Canada 21 Posts	Posted 06/03/2019 02:15 am There is a lot going on with this penny. There seems to be doubling in the lettering. Doubling on his face There is a serious blemish which is on both sides but its not a different colour then the rest of the penny. There is a line at the bottom coming from the wheat and another much larger at the top. Any help valuing this or is it just a huge mess? Thank you for any help in advance. Your pictured coin has been stripped of Zinc and rust and has been reprocessed with a new coating to make it look pretty again. Most likely the coin had damaged surfaces before it was reprocessed. It is now a Details coin with altered surfaces. It is not worth messing with in my opinion. Report this Post to the Staff
