I am collecting two different sets of these

One is in the US Mint little blue boxes I am actually almost complete having all but a couple of common years to go. Not that any are all that rare the 1994 being slightly pricier than the rest but none are really bad. I like the set but in a way the modern collecting seems kind of blah in these. Nothing really rare or special just fill in the blanks.

I am also doing a set in PCGS slabs all PR70DCAM. I am about ten short of complete, including the 1995-W which can get really pricey. Hard to believe a 1995 proof going for near $20,000 in a slab. I could always drop a grade or two for that one but I don't really like that idea. have to see.

Does anyone collect either of these?

The 1995-W is a special case. It was only offered in a set of gold coins, as a "bonus", and it has a very low mintage. If you're collecting, I suggest dropping your grade for that one. Even 69s can be a few thousand.

Yeah, if you decide on the 1995-W i'd say drop the grade, but spend the time searching for one of the better ones in a lower grade slab, who knows, maybe it upgrades and was graded low wrongly. SPend the time looking for one with the right eye appeal.

Probably what I will do that is a lot to tie up in a modernsilver eagle

A couple of the others are pricey, near $1,000, but nothing like that

I have a complete set that's in OGP or airtites (bullion) except for the 95-W proof. It's a NGC 69 that's perfect as far as I can tell. I had to look at a good number of 69's before I found it. I saw a few 70's that had imperfections and didn't look as nice. So, I'd also recommend getting a 69.

I'm working on a complete OGP set (less the 95W) and a CAPS album w/ UNC and bullion issues (also less the 95W). I have both mostly complete back to the mid-90's... just a few to fill in back to '86.
