Is there a specific name for each one of these types of errors? The 1st 2 examples with very defined smudges only on one letter have 1 pic with no light & a pic with light. The "T" and "Y" pics are from the same coin. I occasionally see junk next to letters or numbers like the last pic with "7", what causes these things and what are they calledWhat-Kinds-Of-Errors-Are-These-And-How-Are-They-Caused?

Can we see a full picture of "LIBERTY"? I csn see Die Cracks there. Might be a Retained Cud, if there's movement of the piece

@nc808, that letter B lookes like it took a hit. The letter O seems to have a partially broken post and the letter Y may be part of a Retained Cud. I think that a pic of intermediate magnification would help us to confirm if both end of that die crack actually reach the edge of the coin

The B and the O have taken hits. The T and Y have die cracks running across the top of each. Not sure about the 7. Could be a die crack with chipping.

The die that struck this coin is in the LDS die state. So you will be extreme die wear, cracks and chips.
