Is there a specific name for each one of these types of errors? The 1st 2 examples with very defined smudges only on one letter have 1 pic with no light & a pic with light. The "T" and "Y" pics are from the same coin. I occasionally see junk next to letters or numbers like the last pic with "7", what causes these things and what are they called
@nc808, that letter B lookes like it took a hit. The letter O seems to have a partially broken post and the letter Y may be part of a Retained Cud. I think that a pic of intermediate magnification would help us to confirm if both end of that die crack actually reach the edge of the coin
