Just to let you know,I voted... ...Not a mint mark error,2 possibilities...1 plating bubble, you might be able to depress it with a toothpick...or die chip...try the toothpick to get your answer...

@Bgmike37, not a problem, but there is no need to create this thread as a poll. It is fine to just ask your question(s). With regard to this coin, I agree that it could be a die chip, but seems more likely to be a plating bubble as noted by @GF.

Hello Bgmike37, Looks like you have a die chip touching the 7 and a possible plating bubble next to the chip.

Has to be a Die Chip.

Or a split plating issue. Can tell from this far away even with Binoculars.

Quote: Has to be a Die Chip. @E&V, perhaps you would like to explain why you are sure that it isn't a plating bubble? I'm not trying to put you on the defensive, it is just that you have answered this question with absolute certainty where at least some of us acknowledge another possible answer. Thx.

I'm thinking a die chip because of the shape. To me it looks "hard" and not soft like a bubble. Just my thought. John1
