Bought this one on a gamble from Vette, the largest ebay seller for American coins.
Since they're not in hand, these are seller pics. I know the seller sometimes has pictures that are not so accurate, but I was wondering if you guys can see any problems with the coin.

I paid $100 exactly for this coin.

Light rub, well struck. Couple of minor contact marks. What's not to like?

I've paid more for worse.

pushing AU58,

two things that bother me is the dark mark above ONE on the reverse and looking at the field under CENT there are small circles which could be remnants of some type of liquid not removed after a cleaning

AU-58, not certain of the originality of the surfaces.

AU-58 IMO. Looks fine to me. I have found with Vette that a lot of coins look better in hand than the photos suggest; the ones I have sent out to be graded (2 cent pieces) all straight-graded.

I'm still a little new to attribution (o.k., this might be my first try), but based on what I'm seeing in Newcomb I think this is a N-12. I'm not seeing the crack described in the N-13. ..... of course that's my opinion, I could be wrong.

Higher end AU 55 or 58 but I too am not convinced the color is original.

I agree with this statement from experience.

As for the cent, AU 55.
