Sorry everyone but I do not have a picture of this coin yet I'm working on that.
I would say the grade of the coin is at least fine. The coin is in Fairly good shape. you can see all the lettering and make out the columns very well. I am using a 21 power magnifying glass to look at this coin and where Lincoln should be I can see the striations where the penny was made.you know how they get the straight lines there on the penny, so I can see those in between the columns where Abe is supposed to be. I've looked at this Penny from every angle several times and I can possibly very very lightly at 1 angle see where there might have been his two kneecaps and that's it. Has anyone ever come across this before. And thank you all for your help, PS I was just now taking another look at that coin on the obverse side. And Abe Lincoln's nose is partially missing. The strike is very good and I can see the tip of his nose and his eye in the eyebrow and the head, all that is stuck normal. in between the eye and the point of his nose and nostrils.it looks like the strike never hit there. Both of these places that I described on his coin are not worn down.there are no grind marks, scratches or anything like that

Probably an Over Polished die issue, but we need pictures to confirm it. http://www.error-ref.com/thinning-a...gn-elements/

If so, then the die was over polished. You could see Abe, 'FG' and the roof vertical lines missing. Very commmon.
