Mark runs from around nose tip but out more toward edge runs up under R in TRUST. Also black eye brow like maybe a piece of metal is missing?

Yes sorry but it looks like a scratch to me too. Abe's eyebrow could be an area where the copper plating has been scraped off and the underlying zinc is starting to deteriorate.
