Hi , I have seen these error coins before somewhere but after searching all day I have been unable to find out what kind of error this is. Any help would be appreciated.

@TL, yes that is not a mint error, but rather damage. It could have spent some time on the open mouth of a pipe (such as at the bottom of a stool leg, but this is purely a guess.

Looks like PSD. But they did it carefully to not alter the reverse. But the displaced metal behind the head told me it wasn't struck like that.
