I also found a coin and would like help it's a 1999 New Jersey quarter that I believe was struck on experimental metal because it is brown like a penny

to CCF...we would need the weight and please provide photos of the entire coin, obverse,reverse and side(rim) may be missing the clad layer...good luck..

Before you get too excited, you should be aware that most of the 'brown' dimes and quarters posted on this forum are simply the result of environmental damage, such as being buried in the ground
