One further bit of confirmation. If I am reading Göbl correctly, Valkash/Balash is the only ruler depicted with the shoulder flame.

Also I notice what appears to be the ideogram MLK ("shah") behind the bust. No word in this location is described in Göbl and none of the examples on Zeno have it. Interesting coin.

Thanks for the confirmation KS..Really appreciated..Have been looking around and found this example on Grifterric, its the last coin..
http://grifterrec.rasmir.com/sasani...s_val_1.html
Looks really similar and for me the mint is stated as WH but could be LYW aswell?.... But the main reason I referenced this coin is it seems to have MLK behind the bust? Any thoughts?

The grifterrec site was put together by the late Tom Mallon, who also created the Sasanian mints chart that we all use. I can't rsee the mark clearly on the coin you link to but if if Tom read it as WH, then it must be clearly distinct from LYH, which I agree is the best reading for your coin. Göbl reads LYH as RYW. The Sasanian mints are still largely hypothetical. Finding another coin with MLK behind the bust answers the only doubt I had.
