I don't even know if this will be posted because I'm unsure how to post on here even after reading how to post, but I've got a 2000 dime that has been multistriked? with the reverse stamped on the obverse also. Has anyone seen this or wonder what it may be worth? The reverse is fine but the obverse clearly shows that it somehow got the reverse stamped on top of the obverse. You can see the torch, United States and one dime obviously on on the obverse, it's just a mirror image. I'm not a big coin collector I just look for things while I'm rolling so this caught my eye. I do hope the picture shows up and I am able to get back to this site to see replies. Thank you so much for any replies and I apologize in advance if I can't respond to them or if my picture doesn't show up due to my unfamiliarity on how to post.

@LF416, first welcome to CCF. Second, here is a link to the tutorial on posting pics. I hope we get to see what you have there, but I will say that the vast majority of these that we see either have remnant glue with the imprint of another coin or have been squeezed in a vice between one or two other coins. I'm hoping that you actually do have something special.

If the devices are mirrored, it was created after the strike with another coin pressed into your coin. This can be done with a vise or sometimes they use two pieces of wood and two coins and put the coins between the boards on a construction site then hit it with a hammer. This will make incuse (pressed in) marks on the coin.
This one they used three coins and a vise:

This one was sold on ebay. I even sent the seller a note that is was not an error, but he sold it anyway. The difference between the two is the amount tranferred. On a vise squeezed coin all of the devices appear on the damaged coin.
