coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/21/2019 4:11 pm Not a worn die issue. It is an over polished die issue weakening the devices on the reverse. It happened a lot on the 1983 and 1984 dies that suffered a lot of clashes at that time, then polished over and over and over. The more the fields are polished away, the smaller the devices became on these coin struck by these dies. Report this Post to the Staff
