@JC11, first welcome to CCF. I hope that you find that the folks here are patient! Your pics are actually quite good, although generally you should take the coin out of the 2x2 before photographing to avoid glare.
This '43 dime has old toning on the front, although the toning has spots on it. Otherwise, I just see normal wear and tear from circulation. The back of this coin has several unfortunate scratches, but is not toned at all. Most likely this coin spent time in a Whitman coin folder such that one side was toned while the other side was protected. I also see a couple odd areas by the letter D in DIME and the top of the fasces. The latter may be a die crack, but I am not sure about the former. It may be a very oddly shaped Cud. For reference, look at CU-10c-1943D-04 at the cuds-on-coins website here: http://cuds-on-coins.com/winged-liberty-dime-cuds/ The coin pictured was minted in Denver rather than Philadelphia (like yours), but it has a similar vertical elongate defect. I will be interested to see what others think.
