1-St Post - 1999 Connecticut Quarter, Both Clad Layers Missing?

Is this a chemical trick or an error? The couple jewelers in the area I took it to said the weight was right. Report this Post to the Staff

After they bought them and realized they were just face value coins they paid a lot for and were only worth face value, they spent them. Value is still 25 cents. Nothing special to a collector. Second, coins that are legit missing clad layers are lighter in weight than normal coins so you could confirm the above opinions yourself by weighing this quarter.
