looks like the coin took a hit above ONE CENT area. That could bulge out the obverse. The strong hit on the rim pretty much does this coin in to the cull grade.

Just a reminder, gas bubbles are between a zinc core and copper plating (post 1982). This coin is not plated (pre 82)

Also appears to be very harshly cleaned. PSD. Worth face value now, because it's a cull coin.

As mentioned this coin seems to have been altered after strike.

But they can have gas bubbles. Note on the link the 1958 and 1949 had occluded gas bubbles.
