2000 Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC With Possibly Wide AM?

Wrenes Valued Member United States 204 Posts	Posted 06/27/2019 07:28 am I believe something else about this coin may be inadvertently causing an appearance of a Wide "AM" variety. any ideas/reasons for this? this may help newbies like me to identify the real thing. thanks in advance for your help! Jim0815 Pillar of the Community United States 5239 Posts	Posted 06/27/2019 12:22 pm Heavy die polishing is what is causing the appearance on your cent. As the dies get polished it reduces the size of the devises widening the gaps between them. Notice how there are almost no vertical lines between the Memorial and the roof? Caused by over polishing.
