No doubled die here. I see Die Deterioration and MD. Keep looking! Eventually you will find something. As for the West Point quarters, I suggest checking the cities that they dropped the W's in. If you have any local in your area, try going to a bank in that city, and asking if they have any new quarters. There could still be some Ws floating around in the new boxes. Scroll a bit, and then you will find all the locations they were dropped in: https://www.coinworld.com/news/prec...ulation.htmlBest of luck! -CH27

Yeah just going to be hard to do I live in the country my town is 300 people it's a hundred-mile round trip to the nearest Walmart. My buddy found one at our local gas station couple weeks ago and I think I read somewhere the odds for like a hundred and eighty-five thousand to one so he drastically reduce my chances

I apologize. I just now learned that doubled die it's not the same as double die This is what I thought I had 2, Distorted A class 2 doubled die results when the hub's design moves toward the rim between hubbings.

Quote: I apologize. No reason at all to apologize for learning something--we are glad you are here and learning. For your Shawnee quarter, it looks mostly like Die Deterioration Doubling as noted by @ch27, but we will see what others say when they notice this thread.

Right on and as far as this whole weird internet yelling thing goes, me, my old man & his daddy have always written (pen & paper) in all uppercase & ive always typed in all uppercase maybe everybody else is just whispering. Is there anything in this world that doesn't get censored

But yes I do agree I also see the Die Deterioration on the reverse but if I'm to interpret that exert I posted as it reads then by definition it's also a Class 2 Right? I'm not trying to argue I'm just trying to understand people. so please bare with me here

Quote: "@CH27" ? no idea what that means. Yes sorry for using interwebs shorthand. The "@" symbol means that I am referring to a specific person. The CH27 is a shortened version of "CoinHunter27". I was just being a little lazy.

The meaning of double must mean something other than what I was taught in school then that cracks me up. what looks doubled isn't called double & what looks like a swollen lymph node is called double. thats awesome. ok I gotta go do sum research, thats just to much & thank you & gnight I'm out
