I'm new to all this but the penny stamp seems to be too high and the mint stamp looks to be a possible D? Need a little help with someone who's knowledgeable please.

Photos are too blurry,practice-practice-practice.
stamp seems to be too high might be a MAD if the reverse is normal

mint stamp looks to be a possible D mint mark looks like a D from Denver mint

I think he means that the mintmark location is lower. Mintmarks were added to the dies by hand until 1989. So the locations can vary. This is common.
