I've never found a coin like this and I was hoping that someone could tell me if this is an error.

I was hoping it was the 2000 Wide AM error but I'm not sure about the initials.

Very nice... I didn't even see that it was WAM at first, I was looking at toning (stain).
Good find!

Cheers

Me too! I'm glad you found something worth saving in a 2x2 @CPS.

Thank you all for the comments, As soon as I found out it was a WAM I put it in a holder. To all the new collectors like myself, don't give up and keep looking and you too may find something to add to your collection.

Wexler calls them : "Wrong Design Varieties"
http://doubleddie.com/273301.html
Variety Vista calls them:

Quote:
A couple of transitional reverse pairings are known for 1988, 1992, and 1998-2000. The 1992 transitional design pairings are rare.
