I took a screenshot of this doubled die to compare with the picture I took of mine. Do they look the same to you? If not, what is different? Thank you.

For some reason the upper two images are taller than normal. Best to compare with all images horizontal. Can't rotate images? Then make sure they are horizontal before you take the image. But the angled images look normal from what I can see?

I just want to make sure I'm not going crazy..lol. The first picture is a doubled die I took a screen shot of ( the one with the words below )
I am not trying to match the two, only to understand what makes one a doubled die and the other normal? I see the notching and doubling in both pictures.
I added a better photo that isn't slanted.
I'm looking at the bottom of the R and Y as well as the nothching in the I comparing the two pictures.

Note the centers of the 'B' and 'R'. That will tell you if they are normal or a doubled die.

First there are 9 classes of doubled dies http://errorvariety.com/
you should compare the same type of doubling on each coin, for example do not compare a type 1 DDO to a type 2 DDO. In the pics you posted you can plainly see notching on the bottom right of the tilted LIBERTY and not on the pics that have the level LIBERTY.On the level LIBERTY there is a lot of glare that is IMHO giving a false look to you that it is a doubled die. If you are using more than one light bulb or light source you need to stop. Use only one bulb, preferably at the 12k position on your usb scope. If I got any of that wrong please fellow members correct it for me.

The screenshot was the 2017 P doubled die.
My pics are of the 2017 D and doesn't have anything I can find for doubled dies.
