That is Machine Doubling. Note how the area you are looking at is flat. The devices showing this is actually being reduced in size from the normal. On a doubled die, the devices are enlarged. _AAA.jpg) _AAB.jpg) _AAC.jpg) Note the enclosed devices how that area is smaller because of the spread of these devices. Now look at the devices you are seeing doubling on. They are actually reduced in size because of the MD reducing them.

No that means the are being reduced after they were struck. They were normal and the dies kicked the devices and how the metal is moved reducing the devices.
