Nice EF-40 .S mints are not particulary more sort after unless your from the East coast . Two D mint marks that are sort after are the 39-D and 50-D .

Just I have a lot of old D nickels and just a few S Nickels, are the S nickels harder to come By.

@yld, seems like you have the start of a nice group of Jeffersons. Have you considered trying to collect all dates and mints?

Spence. I have a book started but the coins in the book have Started to corrode. This book I started when I was younger.

Those are some nice keepers you pulled from circulation. As yourself, I had one of those many years ago. Gave it to my niece several years back and now the hobby has a "new" collector.

@yld, ok that is a bummer. Consider taking your coins out of the Whitman folder (or where ever you have them) and put them into individual 2x2s for safekeeping. These coins are not worth a high premium, but it is still a shame to have them corrode under your care.
