Ok, I found this 1938 nickel and I'm beyond excited! The d is filled in, is that something to be even more excited about? It's not in the greatest condition, but still love it! Sorry for so many posts, but seriously, almost all I've done for the last five days is coin roll hunt. I'm a little addicted to this treasure hunt. Thanks for sharing your expertise with everyone!

A broken post doesn't sound all that exciting or special, but I'm still happy to have it. Thanks!

A great example of a broken post on the die. No premium for that but I still like to save these old nickels.

Spence...yes, me too. My nickel collection is growing nicely! This week I found 3 Buffalo nickels in coin rolls, but unfortunately the dates were worn off. The hunt continues, love it. &
