I see no zinc showing... have no idea what would cause this..if it damage or error..if error what kind..diebreak..struck through..or just plan old squished..

Post strike damage. Note how the edge of the coin is out of round in that area. The collar would have left it round. The PSD came after the strike happened.

Can't see real well, but I'm guessing your are seeing split plating on the tops of the devices year the rim. (gray color will show)

Yea its another damaged coin..people suck..i seen one guy I used to work with sqeeze two pennies together in a vice somehow making it appear to b double struck..he thought it was funny but I honestly dint..though I knew better wen I seen coin I felt another might not if they come acrossed it..giving them faulse hopes

@martin, while your cent is damaged, it looks to me like the last S of STATES and O in OF are lightly struck, most likely due to a little grease in the die.

PSD. I would put it back into circulation at this point, since it's a cull coin. Just my opinion of course.
