This is my first post on this great looking web site so hollar at me if I'm breaking any rules. I have a centennial (1976 D) Kennedy half dollar Which is missing the "N" on the back in the word "INDEPENDENCE". Is this an unusual error and does it carry much value as a result? The space between the "E" and "D" is bright and smooth and doesn't look like it was removed on purpose. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks I will attempt to get pictures posted.
Great eyes and excellent photos. While Grease Filled Dies in small areas, as with one letter in your example, don't garner much value, it does show you are looking very carefully.
