karlastrd New Member United States 29 Posts	Posted 07/07/2019 3:43 pm on back of 1969 d penny right corner of house is supposed to be the FG intials. This penny is missing the FG intials. Ive searched this out can anyone explain this further? if it doesn't they say its worth something if all you see is three dots instead of intials. Report this Post to the Staff

Perhaps you mis-posted the pics and this is actually a different coin? Also, since you are asking about a potential error, I'm going to recommend to the mods that your thread be moved to the correct location in CCF. That way, we can get the most eyes on it. If it was missing,it needs to be totally gone and it would be a Grease Filled Die or over abraded die issue. Same with the floating roof. Little if any added value. I just started doing this and been going through some coins we had. dont know what these are worth or if anything. but has been a trip......fun doing this...never know what you may have...need all the help I can get.....
