There are collectors of counterfeit coins but they never misrepresent them for the real thing

WOW, 14 different bidders and it sold for $760. 14 people could not tell that it is a fake? Just goes to show you why they sell the fake ones!

The winner is stuck with a worthless coin. You would think this would caution a bidder, but apparently not.

Sure to go into the bank box, come out 30 years later to the heir who takes it to the coin shop and showing it was sold for that price 30 years earlier. Then he/she leaves way mad that the coin shop owner is trying to cheat him/her.

And the vicious cycle continues.

Yikes, that's insane. If the buyer can prove the coin was fake, could the buyer make an argument that he is still entitled to a refund?

If the buyer bought the coin on ebay via Paypal then yes. Paypal has a new 180 day return policy., it does not matter if the seller states "No Returns"!

"Purchase Protection covers all eligible purchases where PayPal is used, as well as payments made through our website. To take advantage of Purchase Protection, we require, among other things, that PayPal accounts be kept in good standing and ask that a dispute be filed within 180 days of your purchase or payment."

Can't tell from the photos why it's a 60.

Strange that the link was apparently duplicated.

ebay is messed up. That 1843 $1 isn't the same item number or seller.
