I found this 1949 silver dime and was trying to find out if its worth anything more than a dime.

It's worth melt, which is currently about $1.10. If you got it from circulation, that's a score.

1949 (P) silver Roosevelt dime, possibly VF35?

about a $1.23 in silver, which is the value of the coin, as the silver is worth more than any numismatic value it may have, although I wouldn't want to melt it down.

It is definitely a keeper. Don't spend it. It is worth more than a dime.
