Poll Question
A lot has been discussed about the apparently Sold Out, Pride of Two Nations sets. Have you submitted the sets you acquired for grading? The Value of Grading or leaving the sets in OMP has been discussed, and you will enjoy your sets either way, so let's Not continue that discussion here. Thanks This poll is ONLY about PRIDE of 2 Nations that have or will be submitted for grading. Thank you.

The preliminary results suprised me. We have 11 of the 14 members who apparently own the Pride sets will be having their sets professionally graded.
That's 71.4% Graded vs only 28.6% in OMP

I hope that the twelve members who have commented that they are submitting their Pride Sets for grading will share with us the grades that they receive and photos when they receive their submissions back.
Thank you in advance.

If you're gonna send them in for grading I would recommend PCGS with TrueView imaging.

Quote: If you're gonna send them in for grading I would recommend PCGS with TrueView imaging. Especially if it's a free service. "Unfortunately" I have more than 100 NGC graded coins in my collection, and I participate in NGC;s Registry Sets, so it's probably too late to try a different grading service. Thanks for the suggestion.

This polling has some very interesting results:
NGC 16.7% PCGS 54.2% Total Graded 70.9% Total in OMP 29.1%
Sile4Art has provided specific Census info for PF70 graded coins, in the primary Pride discussion topic, and his stats indicate that many more Pride sets are being graded by NGC. I wonder if that is just one or two large dealers who are distorting the stats or is this Forum populated with more PCGS fans?
The percent of sets being sent in for grading is also surprising, because the other forum discussions gave me a different impression.

One of the major submitters to those is basically down the road from NGC

In summary, I purchased three RCM sets, which I had NGC professionally grade. All three sets were PF70 graded. Two sets have been sold and paid for on ebay. The proceeds from the sets that I sold allowed me to kept one PF set at no cost to me plus a few extra dollars in my pocket. My experience with the Pride sets is very similar to what happened with the 2011 5 coin ASE 25th anniversary sets where I kept two sets in ungraded condition.I feel getting the coins graded immediately after receipt seems to be the better decision. Both coins in the Pride sets are very attractive, and I hope everyone is enjoying their purchases.
