I first discovered this forum on a whim and a dream. Going through the YouTube rabbit hole, I was watching videos on how to care for gardens and next thing I know it's on to a video on a new discovery LMC ..yep , you guessed it ..the 1982 D bronze small date. I had a few, and a metal detector..( just nerdy like that ) Long story short that's what led me here.
I took this coin to several shops, and even a coin show near me..at this time I had printed out the article ( a local coin shop said it would help )It did, however the majority of dealers said I had a small date. I came on here and you all were quick and new the latest news. Now, I can see a large from a small in a heartbeat. So thank you for being the best resource of knowledge!
I just saw I have about 256 posts since then, the major majority asking questions. I would like to get some advise on any online classes I could take to further my education in this field. I truly love it..I'm getting good with RPMs but Doubled dies is something I really want to understand.
Thank you all for responding to my posts..at some point, this old dog is gonna get it! :)

No problem Rabbithole1! I am glad that this forum is helping you out! For Doubled Dies, you're just going to have to keep studying known legitimate examples online and keep asking questions about suspected ones on here. It might stink, but that's the only way you'll learn, so that might take more time to learn. But please don't worry about that one too much. That's why you're here, to learn about the hobby.

@RH1, not sure on formal classes, but I do note that several CCF members have created tutorial threads and posted them here. If I haven't already suggested looking at the past several pages of posts in the US modern coin variety and error section of CCF, then that is a great place to learn too. Glad you are having fun!

Check out this link for a lot of interesting information:
CoopHome : (note it turns blue, click on it) On this link I've added a link to various threads I've posted that will help a lot on different subjects. If you have a question on any of them, ask a question and it moves it back up to the top of the current threads. They are subjects with thousands of images. I think the most I put on one thread were in the 200-500 images. So If you like what you see and still have a question, ask on the thread and I'll update some more information. Some of these threads are older, and I may have added more images. I'm getting very close to 10K images on my image host. So it I need to update some to those threads, I can do that easily then.
