Great updates. It will be interesting to see what you find. I also document my finds, searching nickels, in a very detailed Excel spreadsheet. I also find it interesting that you found a mint token. That's really cool! It's a little confusing though when you say it's uncirculated while you found it in "circulation".....LOL! Keep up the hunt!

Hey everyone, I just posted a short youtube video going over what I have found so far. Though it's not super detailed, it would be good for those who want a visual of what I have found so far.

I was finally able to talk Bank of America into giving me a box of pennies, but I could not have been more dissapointed. I found a total of only 4 wheat cents in the entire Bank of America box, so it looks like I will not be returning to that bank. But, the other boxes yielded 19 wheats altogether, including 3 from the 1920's and 1 from the 1930's! I was defenitely happy with these boxes, and I will continue this hunt. Stay tuned!

Very nice. Just go to all the banks you can. They all get them from the Federal reserve, they don't roll them themselves. Bank of America gets the same coins as any other branch, just you got unlucky this time around.

James Hicks, Bank of America orders their coins from a different coin company. While many of the banks in my area order from brinks, bank of america orders from some other company. The boxes look different as a result. Though they all come from the federal reserve, but the coin processing companies vary when it comes to results.

Since they all come from the federal reserve, shouldn't they all be the same? Do you think that BOA's company takes the good coins?

One more box of pennies down and I'm reasonably happy with the results. 9 wheats with one of them being from the 1930's as well as 3 Roosevelt dimes. Stay tuned for next week!
