1920-D Mercury Dime - Obverse Die Cracks +

angellionel Valued Member United States 191 Posts	Posted 07/26/2019 10:17 pm This 1920-D Mercury dime has two die cracks on the obverse, one at about the 9:00 o'clock position and another at about the 6:00 o'clock position. But what has me a bit perplexed is what shows on the nose area; it looks like die chips and an incomplete section at the base. Has anyone seen another dime for that year with the same errors? I believe you are right on the one with the 3rd arrow, as I see a thin line across that one, but the one nearer to the eye is actually a raised area that continues connected with the bridge of the nose and with no damage or hit around it.
