11997755, Nice find. Good luck in finding the 99 WAM. I am also looking for that variety.

Steller example. I found 2 of the 1999 in a short period, but that's how my luck works. A lot at once then nothing for a long while.

Nice WAM! I see some split plating and it got me wondering. What does acetone do to exposed Zinc?

@ Tunnioc...If left in the Acetone too long (30 minutes or more).. the zinc will take on a deep black color...on this coin less than a minute just to remove any oils should be find..then time for an airtight....nice cent... Always test duration of soak times with junk (non error) coins

Nice one Earl. A quick dip in pure acetone and a 2x2,don't soak it though. 1999 is a tuffy,I have only found one in my area of the country. Good luck sent your way on the 99 hunt. John1
