Does anyone collect, sell or interested in West Virginia Coal Script ? Does the script that is coined in the U.S. even qualify as coinage ? Thanks in advance.

I don't collect it specifically, but it is definitely not coinage. They are tokens. Still quite interesting and collectible.

They aren't coinage in the normal sense of the word usage. They can't be used anyplace other than at the point of issuing which would be the company store, some companies went so far as to not allow the use in other of their stores in different locations. I to am not a collector, but do have an increasing number in my collection from my bulk buys. There are a good number of information sources on the net. Along with some really over inflated prices. There are some that do command a premium and are rare. Ther5e also are a number of books wrtten about them. and the larger denominations generally bring more money
