to CCF. It is an error, nice. I think it is called a partial tilted collar? Also, only hold coins by the edges. I would dipped it in 100% pure acetone (not common nail polish remover) and put it in a 2x2.If you can, post full coin photos front and back. John1

to CCF Maniac677 Excellent find and good eye! Nice pictures except for the fingers touching the faces of the coin. Try and only hold the coins by the edges; don't want to leave fingerprints.

Partial collar strike. When loaded it didn't quite make it completely into the retaining collar and the hammer die came down on it giving it that out of round appearance and the tilted effect on the rim, half reeded. Nice to see one! If I had to guess on a value somewhere between $20 and $40 to someone who would want it. 100% a mint striking error.

To CCF! Great find! It's called a Partial Collar error. https://minterrornews.com/priceguid...lcollar.htmlAlso, please hold the con by the edges only or wear gloves, as it can leave fingerprints permanently on the surface. Once it's there, there's nothing you can do to remove it.
Errers and Varietys.

Thank you for the replies and welcomes!! Thank you for the tips also. I am glad I asked because I do not collect coins unless they are unusual looking like this one and I throw them in my little box. After finding CCF though I learned some things and they are coming out of my little box lol.
