#1 - decent buy. #2 - pig in a poke pile. Very unlikely to get interest. #3 - with the Albums a decent buy.
Nothing I would jump on myself.

If he takes better pictures he could probably get more interest. The first one is the only one I would consider but I'd ask him to take individual photos of the coins. No one is going to buy the box of coins like.

Thank to you both so you are saying with #2, he has no change of selling that. And 1 & 3 may get some interest but the pictures still stink on those too?

Your friend needs to check his math on the package deal he offers on the 2nd item. 500$ for the lot plus another 150$ for the add-on would be 650$, not 750$! ebay would have been a good place for this type of stuff 20 years ago. Not so much now. It's a tough sell.

He might have better luck just selling the empty albums.

I think the selling strategy could use improvement. The first listing is fair and I could see it selling, but it is not marketed well. You need to have 1996 in the title somewhere.
The other 2 listings should be divided up in a more logical manner with as many key words as possible in the listing titles

Thanks the the advice I told him to add 1996 to the title. And informed him he may want to split the other 2 up. As well as consider selling empty albums. He was hoping the chest would catch the eye of someone wanting to buy it and turn it around and sell it for more, because he was hoping the person that bought the chest also took the option for an extra money to get the cents, nickels and dimes because it includes two key dates for pennies 1914-d and 1931-s....thoughts?

Thanks machine20! He did tell me he had a watcher on the chest, so he has hope, but again who knows there. I will tell him to consider adding conditions and possibly pictures of the 14d and 31s.

Well good luck. Usually I wouldn't click on a listing like this b/c I'm looking for more specific things, but if I did my thought process would be: Flying Eagle cents (At least 1, maybe more but unlikely) $5 Indian Head cents ( At least 20 of these, if not more) $20 Wheat Cents (I did see years ranging from 1909-1958, if I had to guess its almost a complete set.) $5 Memorial Cents (Some are in Cello like they were cut from a Mint Set, Again appears to be a very nice run of them) $1 Liberty Head Nickels (Again has a very nice run, I did see dates in the 1800's) $5 Buffalo nickels (Again a good many with dates seeming to range from 1913-1938) $2 Jefferson nickels (I did see years ranging from 1938-2018, if I had to guess its almost a complete set, if not one.) $5 Mercury dimes (At least 15 of these, if not more) $15 Roosevelt dimes (Appear to be the Silver ones from 1946-1964, ranging from XF to BU condition it appears) $5 "There are hundreds of coins in the chest." - give minimal insight to exact quantities above So that totals like $63. For anything close to $500 to be realized, more specifics (exact number of coins, dates, condition, pictures) would be necessary
