I didn't know how to edit my post. I was wondering if this was a die chip or Cud on the sun ray? I believe it to be a Cud.

Cuds by definition involve the rim--you have a die chip there.

It would be a Die Chip, not a Cud. They're not the same thing. Try not to confuse them. Please take look at this link. This is what a legitimate Cud looks like. http://goccf.com/t/331880

To me it look looks like a contact mark. (incuse) PSD
(The light is from the left side of the image, the left side of the affected area is showing the reflection. So the mark is incuse. If it were raised, the light would be stronger on right side of that area)
