Hi! I was wondering if there are in existence; Jefferson nickels minted on old Buffalo nickels (wrong denomination). I have searched everywhere online for an example that has been found!

If anyone knows of an example, I would appreciate any info! Thank you guys! :)

Not that I know of. Often cross over stuff happens at the end of years when dies wear out and they use the new dies early. But when they change over to a new design, I don't think this happens as often. (unless you have an underhanded mint worker creating these things, {called a mint assisted coin} or someone creating one on there own known as a counterfeit coin)

keep in mind that vise jobs/counterfeits are out in pocket change. Here is an example...

This is what coop is mentioning in his post.

In my opinion, when you find these, you should keep them from re-entering circulation. Why torture the poor beginners with it?
