There is some off variation in the surface toning that looks a bit like the back and forth motion of a floor buffer. Perhaps there was something on this coin which protected the surface in those areas from being toned as quickly. In any case, it isn't a mint error. If residue, it might rinse off, if it is a stain, it won't. Spendable coin. The real premium is that you can take something home with you in the sense the next time you see it, you will know what it is. I often refer to this as a cup holder coin.
