This 1969-S has a lot of MD going on. The die has also been polished, note the scrapes around LIBERTY. The numbers all have doubling also last T in TRUST. Has MD at chin, nose, forehead and back.

Many interesting things going on in San Francisco back in '69. Was there to see it first hand. Even the mint was rockin'.

Besides the Machine Doubling, there's also die polishing, that reduced the size of the devices. (Reduction of the fields, reduces the width of the devices)
