EricMartin New Member United States 47 Posts	Posted 08/09/2019 6:44 pm 1986 P Lincoln Memorial cent DDO Is this doubled because of the rim being doubled? What kind of error would you classify this as? I think it's doubled because of the rim but it's ignorant speculation at best on my part - outside of looking up error types on my own I need some help discerning the error here. It may be a WDDO-001 based on Wexler's https://doubleddie.com/671734.html site. Report this Post to the Staff

On a doubled die the devices would be enlarged, not reduced. Here is a 1988 DDO-005 Note the width of the devices. Especially on the '88'. Note the right side of the devices are wider than the left side of the devices on each '8'? That is what to look for on the 80's DDOs on the zincolns. 1989 WDDO's Again note, the devices are not reduced, because if there were it would be Machine Doubling.
